Exciting Things Happening in Magna!

You probably noticed many areas in Magna are under construction right now. Here are a few details on new developments being built in Magna.

Arbor Park

It’s out with the old and in with the new at this development on the corner of 3500 South and 8400 West. The old movie theater, library, Arctic Circle, and other buildings were demolished last summer to make way for new tenants. Currently a new Artic Circle is under construction just to the East of the old one. A Walmart Neighborhood Market is also going up quick in the center of the project. There are several other buildings planned, including more restaurants, and other retail space. Additional unconfirmed tenants listed in documents filed with Salt Lake County include Kneaders, GNC, and Little Caesars. Any prosepective business looking for a new location in the heart of Magna would be wise to check it out.

Flangaas Crossing – 8400 West and Magna Main Street

Art Flangaas always had a grand vision for his property lying between 8400 West and Brockbank Junior High. He envisioned businesses, restaurants, banks, and even a hotel. After his passing it was left to his nephew to manage the property, which he immediately began to market and develop. Recently a new Family Dollar location was opened, and a Frozen Yogurt restaurant will be opening soon behind the Chevron. The majority of the property will be used for a new 288 unit, four story apartment complex. There are other commercial spaces in planning, and this would also be a great location for any new business looking to locate in Magna.
